Indefinite and Seasonal Board Options Available

Dedicated to Providing Superior Service and Experienced Care

Our daily routine is followed each and every day, and all horses are cared for based on their individual needs.  Our hay is locally grown and harvested by Course Brook Farm, and stall areas are spread out into sub-sections of 3, 4, 7 and 11 stalls, erasing any “large barn” feeling.  Even our fee schedule is customized to accommodate any special needs.  Nothing in the area compares!

DAILY STALL CLEANING

Our stalls are cleaned and amply bedded, with new shavings added, daily. Water buckets are scrubbed and filled with fresh water on a daily basis as well.  Complementary salt blocks are also provided in each stall.

ALL DAY TURNOUT

Weather permitting, horses are turned out daily in spacious and well-maintained paddocks, spanning 20 of our 60 acres.  Blanket changes are made as necessary in the cooler months and boarder provided fly masks, sheets, and spray are applied as directed in the warmer seasons.

KNOWLEDGEABLE FEEDING SCHEDULE

Here at Course Brook Farm, we adopt the “little-and-often” doctrine for proper equine nutrition management.  Hay is fed 5 times per day and grain up to 3 times per day, with owner provided supplements administered as directed for each meal.

PERSONALIZED CARE

Personalized management of all horses includes coordination of routine appointments with farm vendors for medical and dental care.

LAUNDRY & TACK REPAIR SERVICES

Course Brook Farm coordinates annual cleaning and repair services for all horse blankets, tack, and gear for our boarders.

24/7 ONSITE MANAGEMENT

Night checks are done 7 days a week, and the owners, barn manager and business manager live on site.  Someone is ALWAYS available in the case of emergencies; rain, snow, or shine!

Boarder Testimonials

“Beautiful barn with excellent and customized care for horses that board there. Grounds and facilities are maintained and upgraded regularly. The positive energy, gorgeous views, and acreage provide a wonderful riding experience and a place to get away from it all with your horse without having to go far. Regular updates, specialized clinics, and good communication round out a great boarding experience.” ~ Laura Howenstine

“My thoroughbred and I have been at CBF since February (2017) and Amy and Emily (the staff) have gone beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The staff work very hard to make sure every horse is taking care of with love and compassion. We are happy here and I thank them for all their support in helping me with my horse.” ~ Anne Beale

“I’m new to Coursebrook-less than a week (July 2017). But, my horses are settling in beautifully and we have been exploring the vast expanse of the farm and trails… staff are excellent and make you feel welcome.” ~ Christy Wandover
